MISSION STATEMENT

To empower people to make life-affirming choices with the compassion of Jesus Christ.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

  • We believe the Bible to be God's inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word.

  • We believe that one God is eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

  • We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for the salvation of lost and sinful man and that this salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and not as a result of good works.

  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life and to perform good works.

  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

  • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

  • We believe that God has a special purpose for each person and immutably creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. (Gen 1:26- 27.) Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person.

  • Under the Imago Dei principle, all human life is sacred and made by God in His image.

  • Because all humans are image-bearers, human life is of immeasurable worth in all of its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. As such, we, as Christians, are called to defend, protect, and value all human life. (Ps. 139.)

  • For purposes of PRC’s faith, doctrine, practice, policy, and discipline, our Board of Trustees (affiliations notwithstanding) is PRC’s final interpretive authority on the Bible’s meaning and application in relation to PRC’s governance and practices, including, but not limited to, matters of membership as defined above.(Adapted and amended from the National Association of Evangelicals’ “Statement of Faith.”)

STATEMENT OF PRINCIPLES

  • The Pregnancy Resource Clinic is an outreach ministry of Jesus Christ through His church.

  • Therefore, embodied in its volunteers, the PRC is committed to presenting our Lord's gospel to women with unplanned pregnancies – in both word and deed. Commensurate with this purpose, those who labor as PRC directors, staff, and volunteers are expected to know Christ as their Savior and Lord.

  • The PRC is committed to providing its patients with accurate and complete information about both prenatal development and abortion.

  • The PRC is committed to integrity in dealing with patients, earning their trust, providing promised information and services, and avoiding any form of deception in its corporate advertising or individual conversations.

  • The PRC is committed to assisting women to carry their pregnancies to term by providing emotional support and practical assistance. Through the provision of God’s people and the community at large, women may face the future with hope and plan constructively for themselves and their babies.

  • The PRC does not discriminate in providing services because of its patients' race, creed, color, national origin, age, or marital status.

  • The PRC does not recommend, provide, or refer for abortion or abortifacients.

  • The PRC offers assistance free of charge at all times.

  • The PRC is committed to creating awareness within the local community of the needs of pregnant women and to the fact that abortion only compounds human needs rather than resolving it.

  • The PRC does not recommend, provide, or refer for contraceptives.

  • The PRC recognizes the validity of adoption as one alternative to abortion but is not biased toward adoption when compared to the other life-saving alternatives. The PRC is independent of adoption agencies, relating to them in the same manner as other helpful referral sources.

  • PRC receives no payments of any kind from these agencies, does not enter contractual relationships with them, and does not share combined office space. Adoption agencies are not established under the auspices of the PRC. PRC neither initiates nor facilitates independent adoptions, though it may refer to independent adoptions in Washington and other states where it is legal.

  • The PRC is committed to the Biblical standard of marriage between a man and a woman as the normative avenue for human sexual expression reflected in sexual purity before marriage and sexual fidelity after marriage. The PRC strives to promote healthy relationships based upon sexual abstinence before marriage as a basis for strong marriages and for physical, spiritual, and emotional health.
